Article 107: Codification; administrative law
- Civil law, criminal law and civil and criminal procedure shall be regulated by Act of Parliament in general legal codes without prejudice to the power to regulate certain matters in separate Acts of Parliament.
- The general rules of administrative law shall be laid down by Act of Parliament.

Please note: Only the Dutch-language version of the Constitution has legal effect.
Civil law is regulated in the Civil Code and criminal law in the Criminal Code. Civil and criminal procedure are regulated in the Code of Civil Procedure and the Code of Criminal Procedure respectively.
Specific subjects may also be regulated in separate Acts. General rules of administrative law are laid down in the General Administrative Law Act (Algemene wet bestuursrecht, Awb).
