Report: ECB stops buying Catalan bonds

The European Central Bank is excluding Catalonia from the bond-buying programme designed to boost the EU economy, Spain's El Mundo says. According to the newspaper, the ECB considers that Catalonia does not meet solvency requirements. The Spanish region's ratings have been downgraded by three agencies in recent months.
