Hollande backtracks on ECB comments

French President Francois Hollande i on Monday had to backtrack on earlier comments announcing that the ECB will approve a bond-buying operation on Thursday "and create a movement that is favourable to growth." His office said Hollande was referring to the "hypothesis" that the ECB will act.
