BERLIN - The German Bundestag held its first session Tuesday, one month after general elections. German MPs reelected Norbert Lammert as speaker with 94.5% of votes. He pledged to reinforce the rights of the opposition - which will be much smaller than in the previous legislature if a grand coalition is formed.
