Commissie: Spanje mag "proportionele" grenscontrole bij Gibraltar instellen (en)

The EU commission Monday said Spain may impose border controls on British overseas territory Gibraltar - which is outside the EU's borderless Schengen area - so long as they are not disproportionate. "Controls at the border of Gibraltar can happen but they have to be proportionate," said a spokesperson.
