European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso i on Monday told Romania's Prime Minister Victor Ponta to restore institutional and politically stability. Barroso urged Romania "to remove all doubts on its commitment to the rule of law." Ponta's government attempted to impeach Romania President Traian Basescu in July.
