A group of 44 Romanian university professors wrote an open letter protesting against attempts to cover up the plagiarism case of Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
The University of Bucharest said Ponta copy-pasted a third of his thesis, but the government's ethics committee said it was "according to 2003 standards."
