Duitse parlement tegen directe herkapitalisatie van banken (en)

Sigmar Gabriel, head of the Social-Democrats in the Bundestag, said his group will support an amendment put by Angela Merkel i's own party to prohibit direct recapitalisation of banks by the eurozone i bailout fund (ESM i). The EU council's legal services however say this can be done without changing the ESM treaty.
