Europees burgerinitiatief tegen nucleaire energie afgewezen (en)

A European Citizens’ Initiative to phase out nuclear energy has been rejected by the European Commission, saying the Euratom treaty promotes nuclear energy and that petitions which propose amendments to EU treaties can not be registered. NGOs promoting the initiative say they will seek a juridical examination of the rejection.
