Europese Commissie bezoekt Denemarken en neemt prioriteiten voorzitterschap door (en)

The European Commission visited Denmark on Wednesday January 11 and Thursday January 12.
The Commission and the Danish Government had a number of meetings where they discussed how the Danish Presidency in cooperation with the Commission in the next six months can contribute to lifting the EU on its way out of the crisis.
The Danish Presidency’s priorities were welcomed by the President of the Commission and the commissioners, who expressed their support for the Danish Presidency’s priorities and plans for the next six months.
In addition to the meetings between the Government and the Commission the program also included the formal Opening Ceremony of the Danish Presidency, opening of the exhibition “Europe meets the world” at the Danish National Museum by the Prime Minister and the President of the Commission and a lunch with H.M. the Queen of Denmark.
