The General Affairs Council meets in Brussels on Monday with the Polish Minister Mikolaj Dowgielewicz in the chair. The Polish Presidency will use the gathering to brief Council members on the progress made with regard to the Multiannual Financial Perspective for the years 2014-2020.
The meeting will also discuss the draft agenda of the European Council scheduled for October 17-18. The European Union summit will focus on economic policy, preparations for the G20 i Summit in Cannes and the Union's position on climate change for the Climate Conference in Durban.
