European Anti-Racism Summit

The European Anti-Racism Summit will be held on 19 March, from 8h00 to 12h00 (Lisbon time), co-organised by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission, with the cooperation of the European Parliament Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup.

Scheduled to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which is on 21 March, the summit will deal with the implementation of the European Union Anti-Racism Action Plan (2020-2025), involving the participation of EU institutions, Member States, civil society and equality organisations.

The encounter will also be attended by the Portuguese Minister of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Mariana Vieira da Silva, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.
