Copyright rules back in plenary for debate at 16:00
Met dank overgenomen van Europees Parlement (EP) i, gepubliceerd op dinsdag 11 september 2018.
MEPs will hold a plenary debate on Tuesday on copyright rules for the digital single market after this was requested during the plenary session of July.
In July, MEPs chose to delay opening negotiations between Parliament and Council saying that a period of further discussion was needed to establish the Parliament’s negotiating position.
Tuesday’s debate will mark the end of this period, after which MEPs will be called upon to vote to adopt their position on Wednesday. A press conference with the rapporteur Axel Voss (EPP, DE) takes place on Wednesday at 14.30, after the vote.
You can watch the plenary debate via EP Live, and EbS+.
