President Tajani expressed his condolences to victims of religious persecution and terrorism, at the opening of the session in Brussels.

On behalf of Parliament, President Tajani expressed his condolences to victims of religious persecution, in particular to those recently murdered in the Philippines and the Central African Republic, where at least 15 people died in an attack on a church.

President Tajani also condemned the recent attacks in Kabul and Kandahar where children, journalists and humanitarian workers were amongst those who lost their lives.

Boko Haram also killed dozens of innocent people in Nigeria on Tuesday, which is why an ever stronger union and working together on the international stage is needed, said President Tajani. We need to promote peace and stability in reaction to these attacks.
