Meeting of the National Coordinators for the EU Strategy for the Danube Region in Sofia

The National Coordinators from the Member States of the EU i Strategy for the Danube Region will meet on 22 February at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. The meeting will focus on important issues related to the management of the Strategy, its challenges and perspectives.

The event will be chaired by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works and National Coordinator for the Danube Strategy Denitsa Nikolova. Due to the importance of the macro-regional strategies in the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency and the fact that they set the framework for the implementation of the European policies in the region, which they cover, it is part of its calendar. In 2018 Bulgaria is also the rotating Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Danube region.
