European Commission and EU member states’ representatives will discuss state aid modernisation in Sofia

European Commission and EU i Member States’ representatives will discuss the improvement of national practices and of the institutional framework in the area of state aid in the process of state aid modernisation during a thematic meeting of the Working Group on Implementation of State Aid Modernisation (SAM WG). Bulgaria is hosting the meeting, to be held on 2 February 2018, in Hall 7 of the National Palace of Culture.

This is the first of the events within the priority areas of the Ministry of Finance, to be held in our country during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in the first half of 2018.

The national state aid authority for the Republic of Bulgaria is the Minister of Finance. The responsible state aid authority at the Ministry of Finance is the State Aid and Real Sector Directorate. The Director of the Directorate Vessela Daneva and MoF experts are hosting the thematic meeting.
