Notice: European Parliament committees to hear Slovak ministers on their priorities

Brussels (11 - 14 July) - Priorities of the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU will be outlined in detail to the European Parliament committees by Slovak ministers at a series of hearings this week. It is a standard part of Presidency’s duties.

A series of hearings will start on Monday 11 July, with appearances of Minister of Economy Peter Žiga and Minister of Transport, Construction and Regional Development Roman Brecely in the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.

Hearings are public and last for about 60 to 90 minutes. Depending on the committees’ agenda, one minister may appear in more committees or one committee can quiz several members of the government. Hearings are webstreamed through: http://www.europarl.europa.eu/ep-live/.
