Cyprus exits financial aid scheme after three years

Cyprus has formally its eurozone bailout programme, the EU commission announced on Thursday. "Cyprus has implemented the programme with clear determination and positive results: financial stability is restored, unemployment is declining and we expect Cyprus to continue to grow in the coming years," said commissioner Dombrovskis in a statement.
