France ditches plan to strip terrorists of nationality

French president Hollande announced Wednesday he has abandoned controversial plans to change the constitution, which would have included the possibility to strip convicted terrorists with dual citizenship of their French nationality. "A compromise appears out of reach," said Hollande. The proposals were introduced after the attacks in Paris.
