EU-Morocco cooperation stressed in Mogherini visit

In Rabat for talks with Moroccan Foreign Minister Salaheddine Mezouar, EU High Representative / Vice-President Federica Mogherini i highlighted Morocco's importance as an EU partner in the Southern Neighbourhood and underlined the mutually beneficial links they share.

She went on to say that the key message was "confidence"; confidence in the partnership, a confidence shared by both sides.

Regarding the recent decision by the Court of Justice, Mogherini declared that the European Union remains convinced that the agreements between Morocco and the EU do not violate international law.

She looks forward to the Minister's visit to Brussels at the end of March.
