MEPs to debate how to counter terrorist threats in Europe

In the light of the recent tragic terrorist attacks in Paris, Istanbul, Burkina Faso and elsewhere, MEPs will debate further measures to tackle terrorist threats in the EU with Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos i and the Dutch Minister for Foreign Affairs Bert Koenders i on Thursday morning at 8.30. The urgent need for EU member states to step up information-sharing is expected to be among the topics raised.
