Poland summons EU official for 'courtesy talks'

The Polish foreign ministry has summoned the EU commission's top official in Warsaw to explain criticism by German commissioner Oettinger of Poland's media reforms. Warsaw has so far failed to answer commission questions on its domestic media and constitutional shake-up, ahead of 13 January talks in Brussels on the situation.
