Germany mulls banning far-right party

Germany's constitutional court on Monday started proceedings on whether to ban the far-right National Democratic Party (NPD), reports Reuters. Sixteen German states filed a petition to outlaw the party, described by some as neo-Nazi. The NPD won 1.3 percent of the vote in the 2013 national election.
