Turkey apprehends 3,000 refugees

Turkey detained almost 3,000 refugees over a four-day round-up last week as part of a deal with the European Union to stem the flow of migrants, reports AFP. Most of those detained come from Syria and Iraq. The refugees were set to depart to the Greek island of Lesbos.
