Spanish court annuls Catalan independence resolution

The Spanish Constitutional Court on Wednesday unanimously annulled the bill the Catalan Parliament had approved last month to kickstart the region's independence process. The court stated that the Catalan declaration "is unconstitutional and is therefore nullified."
