Ukraine airspace closed to Russian planes, gas flow stops

Gazprom shut off gas supplies to Ukraine on Wednesday because of payment issues, according to Alexei Miller, the chief of the Russian company. According to Ukrainian PM Yatsenyuk, however, Ukraine itself decided to stop buying Russian gas. Yatsenyuk also announced Ukraine would close its airspace to Russian planes.
