Switzerland mulls tighter border controls

Switzerland needs to improve border controls in the wake of the attacks in Paris, its defence and civil protection minister Ueli Maurer said in a Swiss newspaper Sunday. According to Reuters, Maurer said: "Until now that was a taboo politically. But now the measure of reintroducing border controls is necessary."
