Slovenia starts building fence on parts of its Croatian border

Slovenia on Wednesday began building a wire fence on its border with Croatia, Reuters reports, with trucks containing building materials rolling into the Slovenian village of Veliki Obrez. Ljubljana has said the fence is designed to channel people to official crossing points and won't span the entire border.
