Turkey says EU criticism 'unfair'

Turkey's EU affairs ministry said Tuesday EU Commission criticism on media and judicial crackdowns are "unfair and excessive." It said EU comments also "overlook the balance between freedom and security," while reminding the EU it needs Turkey's help to slow the flow of refugees from Syria camps.
