EU signs text against 'foreign terrorist fighters'

The EU and 17 member states, including Germany, Britain and France, signed Thursday an additional protocol to the Council of Europe Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism regarding "foreign terrorist fighters". The text makes travelling abroad and organising or funding travels "for the purposes of terrorism" a criminal offence.
