Germany to step up military engagement in Mali

Germany will increase in early 2016 its participation in the stabilisation military operations in Mali, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung writes. The troops would support Dutch units in northern Mali. So far Germany has sent around 200 soldiers and is mainly taking part in the EU training mission in the South.
