Obama 'ready to work' with Russia on Syria

US president Obama told the UN Monday "the US is ready to work with any country, including Russia and Iran, to resolve this [Syrian] conflict". He didn't mention Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Last year, he cited ebola, then Russia, then Islamic State, as the main threats to world security.
