EU reportedly to tackle fake auto emission tests

EU sources told AFP on Sunday that the European Union plans on tightening car emission tests after years of research had revealed a discrepancy between emission levels in the lab and those found in the real world. The sources said that the new tests would be able to prevent cheating.
