Protesters demand Moldova elections over $1bn fraud scandal

Moldovan police estimated that between 35,000 and 40,000 protesters showed up in Chisinau Sunday, demanding the resignation of Moldova's president Nicolae Timofti, over a bank fraud which left $1 billion missing from the Moldovan banking system. "Bring the one billion back home", protesters shouted according to Reuters.
