Pharmaceuticals spend €40m a year lobbying EU decision-makers

Pharmaceutical trade associations had over 50 meetings with the Juncker Commission i in its first four-and-a-half months of office, lobby watch-dog Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO) reports. The industry spends €40m yearly on EU lobbying,15 times more than civil society actors working on public health or access to medicines.
