Russia ordered to pay damages over Greenpeace seizure

The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) has ordered Russia to pay damages to the Netherlands over its seizure of a Greenpeace ship protesting against Arctic oil drilling in 2013. Russia did not attend the Hamburg hearing at the court. Greenpeace welcomed the ruling, saying it sets an important precedent.
