EU migration chief to visit Calais

EU commissioner Avramopoulos i is to visit Calais, France, to assess potential EU help for dealing with irregular migrants in the Channel Tunnel, with the date of his trip to be confirmed. EU states have so far ledger to resettle 32,256 asylum seekers out of a 40,000 target, the Commission said.
