Report: Cost of Mistral deal to reach €2 billion for France

The deal to reimburse Russia for the unsold Mistral warships could cost France up to €2 billion, according to the Canard Enchaine newspaper. Paris said it would pay back less than €1 billion but infrastructure costs, compensation for French companies and loss of income will double that amount.
