German MEP starts new eurosceptic party

German MEP Bernd Lucke, who was recently ousted as leader of Alternative for Germany (AfD), was Sunday elected chairman of a new eurosceptic party. The Alliance for Progress and Renewal is to continue Lucke's original anti-bailout stance, but without the anti-immigration policies of the AfD.
