Eurozone fund to provide around €50 billion for Greek bailout

The European Stability Mechanism (ESM), the eurozone emergency fund, will provide "maybe €50 billion" to the Greek bailout, ESM chief Klaus Regling said on German ARD TV Thursday. Greece's financing needs are estimated between €82-86 billion. Regling said that without the bailout "the Greek banking system will collapse".
