Greece had only three allies in bailout negotiations

Italy's finance minister Pier Carlo Padoan told Il Sole 24 Ore that only Italy, France and Cyprus supported a compromise deal with Greece. He noted that many countries fell in behind Germany, and that "only we, the French and little Cyprus were for a compromise."
