Founder of anti-euro AfD quits party

Germany's anti-euro Alternative for Germany (AfD) leader, Bernd Lucke i, announced on Wednesday he is quitting the party he helped found, reports AFP. Lucke, who is also an MEP with the European Conservatives and Reformists Group, said he left because the party is pushing "Islamophobic and xenophobic" views.
