Closing EU tax havens can help ending poverty, charity says

Two European tax havens, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, receive more than a quarter (26%) of all global foreign direct investment, according to an ActionAid report, Reuters writes. "Multinational investments need to be sufficiently taxed," the charity said, calling for an international deal to tackle tax avoidance and reduce poverty.
