Luxembourg still EU richest country per head, Bulgaria the poorest

Luxembourg tops the ranks of EU GDP per capita, according to Eurostat figures. It is at 263 on a scale with a EU average at 100. Bulgaria is last, with only 45% of the EU average. Germany is at 124, the UK just ahead of France (108 and 107).
