Jennifer Baker is joined by Richard More O’Ferrall, spokesperson for the Greens Group, to discuss the European Parliament agenda for this week in the latest episode of ‘previEUws’.

Topics discussed include:

  • Parliament’s recommendations to the Commission for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) talks: MEPs will discuss the controversial ISDS provision during a plenary debate on Wednesday 10 June.
  • Tax evasion: a resolution will be voted on Monday afternoon that calls on companies in all countries to adopt country-by-country reporting and make all information public.
  • MEPs will vote a resolution on another very debated issue, that is the Orban’s idea to reinstate capital punishment in Hungary (Wednesday 10 June).
  • Finally, MEPs will continue to work on revising certain provisions of the proposed Telecoms Package, concerning roaming regulation and net neutrality.
