Iceland repays Polish bailout ahead of schedule

Iceland this week will pay back a loan from Poland over six years early, reports mbl.is. Iceland received €49.3 million from Poland in the aftermath of the collapse of the Icelandic financial system under a ‘Stand-By Arrangement’ with the International Monetary Fund back in 2009.
