Environment committee adopts compromise ETS deal

The European Parliament's environment committee on Tuesday adopted a compromise deal on the setting-up by 2019 of a market mechanism in the EU's emission trading system. The plenary as a whole still needs to approve the compromise in a vote, set for July.
