Jennifer Baker is joined by Antti Timonen, EPP Group spokesperson to talk about the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI).
Better known as the ‘Juncker Plan’, EFSI ties in with the EPP Group’s aims of creating ‘more growth, more jobs and making Europe more competitive.’ The final trilogues for the investment plan are due to be held Tuesday and Wednesday evening as Parliament, Council and the Commission discuss the finer details. The EPP Group is keen to find solutions and pass the plan through Parliament as quickly as possible, concluding an agreement by June or July.
