Jennifer Baker is joined by Ruth Reichstein, spokesperson for the Greens Group, to talk about the newly published ‘European Agenda on Migration’, that was presented by the European Commission on 13 May.

The Greens hail the Commission’s proposals on establishing quotas - forcing Member States to share the burden of illegal and legal immigration - but point out that this approach only addresses one side of the problem. Reichstein advocates a better migration management with ‘new ways to consider legal immigration’ and a “common and fair asylum system”.
