Jennifer Baker is joined by Ruth Reichstein, spokesperson for the Greens Group, to discuss the priorities on the European Parliament agenda for this week:

  The recent immigration tragedies will be the hot topic of this week’s plenary session, as MEPs will debate the Commission’s detailed proposal for a EU Migration Agenda.

• - 

  Conflict minerals: the European Parliament will discuss and vote on the regulation on responsible mineral sourcing proposed by the INTA Committee.

• - 

  Parliament will also examine the so-called ‘better regulation’ strategy, the Commission’s plan to improve the efficiency of EU policy-making.
